Roundhouse Barns

Roundhouse Barns

Roundhouse Barns self-catering accommodation is set within two stunningly converted 17th century barns. We provide one-bedroomed luxury accommodation, exclusively for adults.  The beautiful barn courtyard gardens overlook open farmland. All our self catering accommodation was completely refurbished in early 2010 and has been awarded 5 Stars and Gold Awards by enjoyEngland.

From the National Trust owned lane at the top of our drive, there are magnificent views across the Fal estuary to Falmouth, Mylor, Flushing, Restronguet and the famous National Trust gardens at Trelissick.

We have three very spacious self-catering barns, each with a kitchen/dining room, comfortable lounge, bedroom and large bath/shower room.
All our barns have solid oak flooring in the lounges bedrooms and hallways.  One (Cockle Cottage) also has a wood burner. All our kitchens and bathrooms have been very highly specified.  In the kitchens, we have installed the full range of Neff appliances – ovens, hobs, microwaves, washing machines, dishwashers, fridges and freezers.  We have installed granite worktops and natural stone flooring (either travertine or Brazilian slate).  Our bathrooms have also been refurbished to a similarly high standard.  All have under-floor heating, baths and high pressure showers.  Two cottages have separate large walk in showers.  We even provide complimentary organic bath oils and soap made locally by Trevarno.

Lounges and bedrooms are each equipped with flatscreen TVs.  There are also the normal home comforts – DVD/CD players and iPod docking stations and complimentary copies of Cornwall Today.  Two cottages also have the full Sky TV package.  Central heating also makes an out of season break comfortable and cosy in all our barns.
The Roseland Peninsula is ideally situated for touring Cornwall and visiting the very many beautiful gardens. The Eden Project is close by, as is the famous St Just In Roseland Church, and the yachting harbour of St Mawes. There are many quiet coves/beaches close by where you can escape the crowds. Some of the most beautiful parts of the Cornwall Coastal Path are also only a short distance away.

All guests are welcomed with fresh home-baked scones, clotted cream and locally sourced strawberry jam.
Prices from £345.00 per week, short breaks available out of peak season.
For the peace and tranquillity of all our guests the barns and the grounds are no smoking areas.  We regret that we do not take pets.
