Fancy fish for supper, taking in the sights of the historic St Mawes harbour and Cornish coastline by boat, or just a leisurely sunset cruise along the River Fal? Set sail with friendly, local skipper James Brown, a former commercial fisherman with more than 20 years experience, onboard his traditional Cornish fishing boat, Dolores.
Catch it and cook it... Two hour mackerel fishing trips. Try your luck with feathers or lures. Great fun for all the family. All tackle supplied. Live bait or trolling for bass, with a bit of notice, live bait can be provided. Lucky dip included..
Both trips include pulling up lobster and crab pots. Harbour sightseeing trips. Sail around the St Anthony Lighthouse, look out for seals on Black Rock and view Pendennis and the St Mawes Castles from the water.
Cream tea and a slice of history. Take a trip back in time to Smugglers Cottage for a cream tea and scenic trip down the River Fal. View the huge, international ships laid up waiting for work.
Charters & private hire
All aboard Dolores. Call the shots yourself with a half or full day charter. Hampers from the local Deli on request. Just tell us what you'd like to eat and we'll have your picnic waiting on the boat. Why not bring along a bottle of wine for a leisurely trip around the harbour, enjoy a stunning sunset, or try your luck fishing.
