The St. Mawes Hotel is set right on the water's edge and has been substantially refurbished and modernized in the last 10 years. Our 5 bedrooms are simple and stylish with en-suite bathrooms, including a shower and bath. Three of our five rooms have the most superb sea views.
Positioned right on the front overlooking the water, St Mawes hotel offers a great choice of modearn and traditional menus and some great wines. This is not a hotel in the traditional sense but more of a modearn bar with accommodation.
The bar area is split on two floors with a pool table upstairs and downstairs includes some outside seating to watch the world float by!
A lively bar with occasional discos and bands at the weekends. There are five ensuite rooms available.
St. Mawes is situated at the end of the Roseland Peninsula and is known as one of the most idyllic harbour villages within Cornwall and the UK. For those wishing to relax, you could not have found a more beautiful or peaceful resort for your Cornish holiday.
As well as offering hotel accommodation, we are known for our café bar that is used by many for sipping on a coffee or nibbling at a Cornish cream tea. Alternatively, a spot of breakfast, lunch or dinner can be enjoyed. The hub of the hotel is our 2 café bars. The ground floor bar that opens out onto the street in the summer, makes you feel that you could be on the French Rivera rather than within the UK. Our first floor, which includes another bar, offers comfortable seating, as well as a balcony to make the most of superb views of St Mawes. We have an extensive bar that stocks a variety of new and old world wines, and of course our local Cornish real ales. We are also frequent hosts of local bands and artists throughout the year.
Cornwall is quickly becoming a Mecca within the UK, for food lovers that flock to Cornwall for the sheer quality of our freshly caught fish. Our chef tries hard to capture this in his menu.
